I was really keen to see the temples of Ankor Wat. So one of stops on my journey was Siem Reap in Cambodia. Although Siem Reap is a small town with about 170.000 inhabitants, it provides some really cool ways to stay fit.
Here are my top 3 ways how to stay fit in Siem Reap:
1. Go on a bike tour
You have a lot of different routes and providers for bike tours in Siem Reap. You can either combine the bike tour with some sightseeing and explore the temples of Ankor Wat or explore the Cambodian countryside by bike.
Among all the commercial providers I have found the NGO Khmer for Khmer Organization. The organisation is offering some really nice bike and motorbike tours. The tour fees are used to finance KKO and its projects.
2. Drop-in at Ankor Fight Club
Angkor Fight Club is a gym that is specialized in (Kick-)Boxing and MMA. Additionally the club the offering some Crossfit lessons. You can join the group classes for 6 Dollar per drop-in session.

3. Book an accommodation with free sport activities
If you are looking for free fitness workouts during your stay in Siem Reap, you should consider to book an accommodation that is offering free sports activities.
I stayed at „The Siem Reap Hostel“ which is offering free Yoga session every day at 6 pm. Other accommodations like „Downtown Siem Reap Hostel“ or Jasmine Family Hostel are equipped with swimming pools you can use for free.
