A great thing about Bangkok is that there plenty of fitness workouts for free. During my research I found some blog articles about free courses in public parks all over Bangkok and even in front of some supermarkets. Generally the courses take place every morning and evening.
I attended a free workout in Lumphini Park on a Thursday evening. Lumphini Park is the biggest park in Bangkok and it is known as „The green lung“ oft he city. Even if you don’t want to attend the workout, it is a nice place for jogging, playing basketball or just going for a walk.
I reached the park 4 pm. It was the ideal time to browse around a bit and join the fitness session afterwards. The first session in the evening starts around 5 pm and a second one at 6 pm. You can’t miss it if you follow the loud music.
The session will last about an hour and consists of easy aerobic moves. Although the instructors only speak Thai, it is not too hard to follow. If you are looking for a workout you can combine with some sightseeing in Lumphini Park, it is definitely worth to go there.
